A look into capabilities of LRP explanations to identify relevant channels in top-randomized deep neural networks

We perform a preliminary analysis of the question whether Layerwise Relevance Propagation is capable to find channels in intermediate feature maps of deep neural networks which support regions in the input with positive relevance scores, for the case when weights of the top-most layers are randomized.
