Development and Implementation of Virtual Reality in Higher Education for Aviation: A Case Study

This presentation aims to introduce a practical approach for incorporating Virtual Reality (VR) technology into aircraft operational maintenance training within an aviation-oriented educational curriculum. Firstly, the development stages of the VR application are outlined. Subsequently, the paper elaborates on the specific steps for integrating this VR application and its related instructional content into educational settings. Preliminary surveys and feedback from students highlight VR's educational values for aviation-focused programs. This work demonstrates how educators can practically and effectively integrate such advanced technology into existing curricula to enhance student engagement and interest within a university setting.
