This empirical research is based on a single case study that draws data from semi-structured interviews. The results show that sustainability was perceived positively and was a key consideration during the hotel selection process, with the majority expressing that the sustainability initiatives contributed to a positive guest experience, but a lack of effective communication strategies to increase sharing about its sustainability initiatives was observed. The study’s findings provide deeper insights on the responses for PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay to understand how their guests perceive the sustainability initiatives implemented and to make further improvements.
