This
presentation describes how two interpersonal communication modules implemented similarly innovative research project designs using an
interactive multimodal learning environment model to encourage students
to explore real-world challenges within
industry-specific contexts to gain deeper knowledge. The multi-modal tasks included blogs (verbal/visual), project pitches and team-based oral presentations (verbal/nonverbal/visual), as well as student-generated instructional videos (verbal/nonverbal/visual).
