Ransomware is a form of malware which attackers use to encrypt corporate and individual victims’ data to blackmail them for financial gain. While ransomware-related cyberattacks occur frequently, information regarding historical ransomware attacks and their exploited vulnerabilities is sparse and unorganized. We present Ransopedia, a tool that achieves two goals. Firstly, it is a curated encyclopedia that is intended to provide the public with insights on ransomware attacks and associated vulnerabilities. Secondly, it forecasts potential future vulnerabilities through predictive analytics.
