In the recent past, multi-perspective Ultrasound (MP-US) imaging is getting popular as it overcomes the challenges due to the typical limited field of view imaging which requires skilled manipulation and interpretation by clinicians. This study presents a novel system for low-cost MP-US image reconstruction that captures images from diverse angles employing a 1D linear probe in a 3D-printed circular track. The acquired images are segmented to isolate regions of interest which serve as the basis for optimization-based registration which ensures precise alignment of the acquired images. The proposed approach is validated with a case study of in-vivo wrist bone and an enhanced surface view of the wrist is demonstrated. The reconstructed image obtained using the proposed approach facilitates improved diagnostic accuracy and quick decision-making.
