This conference presentation provided the findings of two studies on psychosocial rehabilitation for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A pilot study on the use of augmented reality in cognitive remediation (using Neuropsychological and Educational Approach to Remediation) and vocational training was carried out with participants undergoing work therapy. Results showed an improvement in vocational skills and aspects of cognitive skills. Another study was a systematic review on the use of virtual reality and augmented reality in psychosocial rehabilitation for persons with neurodevelopmental disorders.
