A Red-Dot award and A’Design winning designer and the first Industrial Designer in Singapore to be awarded the Doctoral of Philosophy (PhD) qualification from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Associate Professor (Dr) Agnes Xue's research interest has always been exploring better designs for healthcare that will have user-centric impact in this digital age. Her professional and teaching experience include work at Siemens Medical Instruments, the Design Singapore Council and NUS, Singapore-Stanford Biodesign program A*STAR. Agnes has always been an entrepreneur at heart. During her time outside of the university, she has invested and started a 3D visualisation design consultancy and an interior design company. In her personal capacity, she served in the Council of the Lupus Association Singapore. SIT Faculty Profile
