This chapter highlights the various grid impacts of EV integration as their penetration in the transport sector increases. In order to compete with ICE vehicles, various models of EVs have been released in the market with different battery sizes, traveling ranges, and charging requirements. The methods of charging EVs are categorized into different power levels and the power levels reflect the charger power, equipment, effect on the grid, charging time, cost, and location.
